Ever considered
Victoria too
I've finished (on the third of May... well to tell the truth, the slip and the belt are still missing but hey! who cares? not me) my second take to the Victoria's secret skirt.
You can find about the first one here. The pattern is no longer available on crochetville.org, but I found it over there... Shh!. It's a secret!
This time I almost didn't modify the pattern, I just chose to repeat the lys flower of the second diagram into the third one (I really didn't like the solid pattern of trebles), I left aside the last row of double crochets, in lieu of which I did a discreet row of slip stitches, and this time again, I crocheted cables between the leaves of the bottom of the skirt.
I am de_ligh_ted with the outcome.
For this one I wanted to experiment with color and create a subtle gradation from pink to off white.
Still trying to get rid of the 24 pounds of acrylic yarn I so recklessly e-bayed and thus making way for new auctions playfully experiment with yarn and color, I thought I could try to mimic Phil’onde by Phildar (alas discontinued).
