soon Easter ...

Get ready for the egg hunt!
Here’s the basket I crocheted out of tow old tee-shirts for the occasion. I used them up almost entirely, I even crafted a rose out of the collar of one of them (it’s sewn, I wanted to loom it but it didn’t come out like I wanted).
So I cut the shirts and crocheted with a 4.5 mm hook (my 6mm being plastic, I got afraid to break it… but 4.5 was way to tight! it hurt my fingers! and my shoulders ! and my arm! )
I just braided the handle into shape.
Stats :
Crochet hook : aluminium 4,5 mm (US G, advised : 6mm, US J)
Yarn : 1.5 to 2 cm wide ribbons cut out of two adult size t-shirts.
Stitches : single crochet, back post single crochet, back post double crochet, front post treble crochet, embroidery slip stitch.
Dimensions of the finished basket : length = 22cm, width = 14cm, hight = 10cm.
Time : 14 to 16h.
