RECIF by Phildar

Hello everyone!
I took advantage of the sale period and bought a few balls of this (discontinued... what a shame!) yarn :

I'd like to make another Patricia Pepe skirt and the doily cardigan, and maybe a top with the leftover...

The "self striping" bayadere effect gives something like THIS

BUT

I was wondering wether this yarn is suitable for an openwork pattern or not... What do you think? Have you ever used this yarn or a similar one? What is your opinion as far as lacy vs solid is concerned?

Any imput would be appreciated!
Thanks :rowofhearts:

I love it when I tumble upon a new stitch!

Is it knitted?

No, crocheted! It’s Tunisian crochet knit-crocheted on my n#3 home-beaded hook! So much more fun and so much easier than knitting with needles!
I decided to give a try to this particular technic because I intend to make myself a nice entrelac bérêt!
to be continued…

  • Crocheted!

  • Is it knitted? Nope! Crocheted! Crochet isn't just for grannies, doilies and floppy funky scarves. I am - fairly - under 50, I have a crochet hook and a yarn ball handy in my purse and I like decorating my shoulders better than my sofa.
