Happy Labour Day!

In France the first of May is a holiday, la fête du travail (Labour day), we offer to our friends and/or relatives a lily of the valley, which symbolizes spring… therefore the sidewalks are crouded with people selling them (it’s the only day of the year when people who are not merchants are allowed by the law to sell something on the street), and although it’s a national holiday many florists are open.

Today I’m just sitting at home, playing with my daughter and crocheting…

  • Crocheted!

  • Is it knitted? Nope! Crocheted! Crochet isn't just for grannies, doilies and floppy funky scarves. I am - fairly - under 50, I have a crochet hook and a yarn ball handy in my purse and I like decorating my shoulders better than my sofa.
